1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how RankForge ("we", "us", "our"), available at https://rankforges.in, handles information when you visit the website and use our free SEO, content, image, calculator and developer tools. RankForge was founded by Alex Rohit Gupta.

By using the website you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. This policy should be read together with our Terms.

2. Information we collect

We do not ask you to create an account, so we do not collect names, passwords or payment details to use the tools. We may collect the following:

  • Usage and device data: when you visit, our servers and hosting provider automatically record standard log data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring page, pages visited and the time of the visit.
  • Information you send us: if you contact us through the contact page or by email, we receive the details you choose to send, such as your name, email address and message.
  • Information you enter in some tools: a few tools need an input to work, for example a domain for the DNS lookup or a URL for page and SEO checks (see section 3).
  • Cookies and similar data: described in section 4.

3. How our tools handle your data

Most RankForge tools, such as the word counter, text case converter, readability score, image compressor, image converter, image resizer, calculators and minifiers, run directly in your browser. The text, numbers and images you use stay on your device and are not uploaded to our server.

Some tools need to contact a server or a third-party service to work, for example the DNS lookup, ping tool, page speed checker and on-page SEO checker. For these tools, the domain name or URL you enter is sent so that the check can be performed. Please do not enter sensitive or confidential information into any tool.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We and our advertising partners may use cookies, local storage and similar technologies to keep the site working, understand how it is used, and show advertisements. You can control or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block cookies, some parts of the site may not work as expected.

5. Advertising

RankForge is free to use and is supported by advertising. We use third-party ad networks, including Adsterra, to display ads on our pages. These partners may use cookies, web beacons and your IP address to deliver and measure ads and to show ads that may be relevant to you. We do not control the cookies set by these third parties, and their use of your data is governed by their own privacy policies, for example the Adsterra Privacy Policy.

  • To run, maintain and improve the website and its tools.

Depending on where you live, including under applicable Indian law such as the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, or to withdraw consent. You can also:

  • Contact us to make a request about your personal data (see section 13).

10. Children's privacy

RankForge is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Our pages and ads may link to other websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
